The Energy label for household appliances based on EU Directive 92/75/EU gives reliable and easily comparable information on the energy consumption of household appliances.

Appliances are divided into classes A-G according to their energy efficiency whereby A is more efficient and G is less efficient. For refrigerators A+ and A++ are also available for appliances whose energy consumption is very low.

All Fisher & Paykel refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens and range cookers carry an energy label. The label is drawn up on the basis tests carried out in the Fisher & Paykel laboratories.

The European Union is currently carrying out a review of the energy label and more information shall be available in due course.
